Jim grew up in Seattle on Queen Anne Hill- when he was 17 he joined the army and went to Germany. Jim got out of the army in 1970. His first job out of the army was cleaning carpets. He started working for janitorial companies in the early 70's as a floor waxer and carpet cleaner. Jim and Melissa met in 1982 we got married in Dec 1985 We started Nelson Carpet Cleaning on Dec 1, 1986. We had purchased a carpet cleaning truck in the the spring of 1986 and started the plans to open our own cleaning service.
